A grand day out: Peter Andre takes his children to Chessington World Of Adventures - and films it all for his TV show

By Daily Mail Reporter

Family day out: Peter Andre treated Junior and Princess to a trip to Chessington World Of Adventures while filming his new TV show

Despite Katie Price's insistence that she wants her children to remain off camera, Peter Andre seems determined to feature them in his new TV show as much as possible.

And in the latest scenes to be filmed for the programme he treated Junior, five, and three-year-old Princess to a trip to Chessington World Of Adventures.

The 38-year-old Mysterious Girl singer appeared to be thoroughly enjoying himself as he carried Princess - and gave Junior a lift on his shoulders - around the park.

And he also joined them on some of the rides at the park, with all the fun being captured on camera for Peter's ITV2 reality TV show The Next Chapter.

The scenes were the latest to feature the children, after he also took them to a cupcake making class in Brighton for the show - despite his ex wife Katie Price asking that he no longer feature them on camera.

Katie recently hit out at her ex-husband for still being pictured with their children in the press and on film.

Devoted father: Peter held on to Princess' hand as the family made their way round the theme park

Hands full: At one point Peter was holding Princess while Junior hitched a ride on his shoulders - but it wasn't for long

She made an about-turn in November and suddenly announced she wanted her children out of the spotlight, despite having featured them regularly on her own reality TV shows and in interviews.

However, she said that the moratorium doesn't apply to Harvey, who will still feature in the forthcoming series, entitled Katie.

Joining in the fun: The singer appeared to be enjoying himself as he treated the children to several rides around the park

She said in an interview with the Evening Standard recently of her other
children: 'They're at an age now where Junior is like, "Mummy, I am famous. Kids at school say I am not famous but I am," and I thought, from those remarks, that it's time to take them out. Harvey has no idea about any of it.'

But oddly, both Junior and Princess were in the audience in front of live television cameras when Katie performed on Let's Dance For Comic Relief just last month.

Keeping private: Katie Price said recently that she did not want Peter to feature their children in his TV shows

The children have already appeared in series including Katie & Peter: Unleashed, Katie & Peter: The Next Chapter Down Under, Katie & Peter: Stateside and What Katie Did Next.

Peter, who recently celebrated his 38th birthday, was also one of the guests at the News Of The World Children's Champion Awards in London on Wednesday night - as was Katie's other former husband Alex Reid.

Unlikely duo: Both Peter Andre and Alex Reid attended the News Of The World Children's Champion Awards in London on Wednesday night

Bad hair day! Cheryl Cole sports bird's nest do as she larks around for the camera while filming new L'Oreal ad

By Jody Thompson

Anyone got a comb? Cheryl Cole's PR company posted up a picture of her having a seriously bad hair day as she was being styled for a new L'Oreal advert

She normally never has a hair out of place - and if there is, it's been artfully placed in the name of style - but Cheryl Cole was struck down with a serious case of barnet bother earlier today.

The X Factor judge appeared not only having a serious bad hair day to the extent her locks looked like a bulldozed bird's nest, but her PR Tweeted cheekily posted up a pic of it on Twitter for the world to see.

The hilarious photo which showed 27-year-old Cheryl grinning wildly under her wild hair was captioned: 'A seriously bad hair day. Help a girl out.'

But fans of the brunette beauty need not fear that she's had a fashion fail - Mail Online can reveal the star was being styled for a new L'Oreal advert.

Although her PR couldn't divulge any more information about the campaign, the Twitter picture in which the star is wearing a khaki zipped jacket looks suspiciously like a 'before' shot for one of L'Oreal's rectifying hair products.

And even if not, as the face - and hair - of L'Oreal - she's certain to access to a myriad more of the beauty company's potions to restore her locks to their usual loveliness.

The X Factor judge is currently on tenterhooks waiting to find out if she's landed a job on the U.S. version.

Brunette beauty: The star had her usual hair style when she attended the Prince's Trust Celebrate Success Awards in London's Leicester Square last week

In the spotlight: The star usual has her hair and make-up just perfect as the face and hair of L'Oreal

Svengali Simon Cowell wants her on board when the show launches later this year, but executives are worried the star simply does not have a high enough profile.

Show insiders said that the 27-year-old Girls Aloud singer is set to take a role on the new programme in a multi-million pound deal but there has been some anguish about whether viewers will know who she is or be able to understand her accent.

The only person confirmed to be sitting alongside Cowell on the U.S. X Factor panel is producer L.A. Reid, who has helped launch the career of the likes of Rihanna, Mariah Carey and Justin Bieber.

Groomed girls: Cheryl and Girls Aloud bandmate met Prince Charles at the event which was sponsored by L'Oreal

A decision is expected soon however as auditions for the show started this week with 18,000 hopefuls descending on Los Angeles in a bid to become a star.

In the meantime, Cheryl is enjoying her time back in the UK, and last week, was a guest at the Prince's Trust Celebrate Success Awards.

Wearing a peach Sass & Bide gown that was slashed to the thigh, she joined her Girls Aloud bandmate Kimberley Walsh to meet the charity's head Prince Charles.

What police cuts? THREE squad cars turn up to Katie Price's house... after some fans ring doorbell for an autograph

By Daily Mail Reporter

Enthusiastic response: Three squad cars turned up to Katie Price's Surrey home today

The police force is currently facing the challenges of losing a fifth of its funding over the next four years.

But you would never know there was a crisis outside Katie Price's home in Surrey today, when no fewer than three police vehicles arrived to assist the reality star.

But it was far from the emergency situation it appeared to be as the squad cars lined up along the country road - in fact, they were called to deal with a small group of fans who had rang Price's doorbell asking for an autograph.

Drama: Police attended to deal with a group of fans who rang the doorbell asking for an autograph from the star

The over-attentive police unit raced to the scene despite there being no danger to the reality star - her large gates at the end of the driveway kept the eager fans well away from her home.

Further, Katie, 32, wasn't even at home at the time. The model was in Manchester for the day at the Sky call centre.

She tweeted this evening: 'On way back from manchester thankyou everyone at sky call centre for making me feel welcome xx'

A spokesperson for Price is yet to respond to a request for comment on the incident.

No danger: Katie wasn't even at home at the time of the incident, she spent the day in Manchester

This isn't the first time the police have gallantly stepped up to assist Price in her time of need.

Last month they drew heavy criticism for forming a rolling road block to shield her from photographers on the A3.

Police confirmed that an investigation was launched after complaints by furious motorists who were left trailing behind during the delays caused by her VIP treatment in early February.

At the time, photographer Ben Benjilali - one of four snappers who had been waiting close to the reality TV star’s home and was caught in the chaos - told agency reporters that it was not unusual for paparazzi to follow Ms Price and she would normally happily stop and pose for pictures.

Not the first time: The Police drew criticism last month when they gave Price a rolling road block on the A3

Special treatment: The roadblock caused heavy delays for frustrated motorists left trailing behind the model

But as her Range Rover car joined the A3 from the M25 a police vehicle appeared and introduced a 50mph speed limit behind the car for eight minutes..

One Surrey resident Ian Whittaker, from Hindhead, was so infuriated by the incident that he has lodged a formal complain with Surrey police.

‘As a Surrey taxpayer, I am concerned that limited police resources are being abused in this manner,’ he said.

‘If any of the press or other road users were driving above the speed limit, they should have been prosecuted.

Cosy: While her exes were out at the star-studded Children's Champions Awards last night, Katie tweeted a picture of Leandro cooking her dinner at home

‘This looks like star-struck Surrey Police officers pandering to the ego of a minor celebrity.’

Meanwhile Katie managed to avoid drama for once by staying home rather than attending the reality star-studded Children's Champions awards in London.

Both of her exes - Peter Andre and Alex Reid turned up to the ceremony, but Katie side-stepped a potentially awkward situation by staying at home.

Instead, she tweeted a picture of new love Leandro Penna cooking her a cosy meal of roast chicken.

At last, embattled Sandra Bullock manages to raise a smile

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Perky: Sandra Bullock looked cheerful as she left her New York apartment today for a trip to the gym

Sandra Bullock took the bull by the horns today, so to speak, and made a concerted effort to cheer herself up with a trip to the gym.

The actress has been spotted looking a little down in the dumps in recent days in the wake of her ex-husband Jesse James planing to release a tell-all-book on their marriage.

But as she left her New York apartment this morning, the 46-year-old Oscar-winning actress had managed to raise a smile.

Grin and bare it: The actress played it casual and was carrying a pair of running trainers as she made her bright and breezy exit

Sandra played it casual in three-quarter length trousers and a black top as she headed to for a workout to release some endorphins.

Yesterday she was pictured looking glum as she went out for a stroll with her adopted son Louis.

Her downcast day out came immediately after her ex-husband Jesse James revealed the book cover of his memoir.

In the book James recalls parts of his life spanning 41 years.

He writes about everything from his tough upbringing, and struggles with addiction to success and fame.

He also touches on his failed marriages, which will no doubt refer to his ex-wife, Sandra.

Speaking to U.S magazine People, he describes what the tome will entail.

Mother and son: Sandra seen here on Tuesday with son Louis, cutting a rather glum figure

'I've lived a pretty crazy life,' he said.

'My life has been defined by many things and not just the events of the last year.
'I just wanted [the memoir] to be a good story, a page-turner and hopefully people will see it as that.'

For the the cover, the 41-year-old is seen posing in the theme of the famous American outlaw with whom he shares the same namesake.

'Pretty crazy life': Jesse James's new book cover

Holding a.44 Magnum revolver, he wears a Western Style suit and bowler hat.

He said he settled on the look rather than, 'some variation of a bad prom photo, serious Thinker pose like most book jackets show.'

James, the former head of now redundant West Coast Choppers, appeared in the reality TV reality series Monster Garage and also featured in the documentary Motorcycle Mania.

But the tattoo-clad star is of course most famous for his marriage Bullock - and their bitter split.

Their relationship imploded last year just days after her Oscar win for The Blind Side when she discovered he had been having an affair with a tattoo model.

Sandra then divorced James in April 2010 after more women claimed that they had affairs with Jesse during their marriage.

The split came days before Sandra announced in April that she had proceeded with plans to adopt a baby boy born in New Orleans.

Sandra and Jesse had started the initial adoption process four years earlier.

Louis was already united the former couple in January 2010, but they did not announce the news until the Oscars in March 2010.

After the couple's split, Sandra continued the adoption of the baby as a single parent.

Jesse is now engaged to tattoo artist and reality TV star Kat Von D.

Dishing the dirt: Sandra's ex-husband Jesse James revealed the cover of his tell-all book, American Outlaw, earlier this week

Sandra is currently in New York to film the drama film Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close based on the novel by Jonathan Safran Foer.

The story follows a nine-year-old amateur inventor and astrophysicist who scours New York city for a lock that matches a mysterious key left by his father after he was killed in the September 11 attacks.

Sandra stars alongside Tom Hanks, John Goodman and James Gandolfini n the film which will be released in 201

Sandra was recently listed at the 22nd highest earner in Hollywood for 2010, taking home over $22 million and this year is set to be as good professionally for the star with four films in production and five in development.

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Musclebound: Cameron Diaz showed off her biceps as she collected her Female Star of the Year Award from Drew Barrymore

She's well known for showing off her fabulously toned body - but it looks as though Cameron Diaz may be trying to impress her boyfriend A-Rod just a little too much.

The actress was looking more muscular than ever as she picked up an award at the annual CinemaCon convention in Las Vegas on Wednesday.

Cameron, who accepted the prize for Female Star Of The Year from Drew Barrymore, was wearing a strappy, fitted white dress for the occasion - which showed off her recently acquired biceps.

Pumped up: The actress showed off her muscular look in a strappy white dress at the event in Las Vegas

And while she has always been toned, her muscles suggest that perhaps she might have been hitting the gym a little too heavily of late.

But the muscular look appears to be popular with her current beau.

A-Rod's ex-wife Cynthia also had well-toned biceps - while it is a look also favoured by another one of his exes, Madonna.

Best of friends: Cameron shared a friendly moment with Drew Barrymore, who had presented her with the prize

Cameron not only accepted the award at the annual convention - in which U.S cinema chain owners gather for a preview of forthcoming films - but she also promoted her new movie Bad Teacher.

She stars in the film as a foul-mouthed, money-hungry teacher who goes to extreme lengths to try win the affections of a new teacher - whom her colleague is already dating.

The film - which co-stars her ex Justin Timberlake - is due for release later this year.

By SARAH FITZMAURICE

Keeping things under wraps: Vanessa Hudgens left the Sucker Punch after party with her hair covered up but that wasn't the only thing the actress was keeping under wraps as she refused to talk about her relationship with co-star Josh Hutcherson

Party girls: Jena Malone, Emily Browning, Vanessa and Abbie Cornish braved the chilly London cold to enjoy a dinner at Bam Bou before heading to Cafe de Paris

Vanessa joined her co-stars on the red carpet at Leicester Square’s Vue cinema to premiere the Zack Snyder film in the U.K. which opens in cinemas across the country tomorrow.

What's your number? Gavin Rossdales's fatherly pride as Kingston gets his first phone number from a girl

By SOPHIE FORBES

Like father like son: Kingston Rossdale makes friends with an older girl at the Coldwater Canyon Park in Beverly Hills yesterday while on a day out with his father Gavin Rossdale

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdales eldest son Kingston has always appeared to be a confident little boy.

And yesterday the four-year-old showed he had inherited his parents' charm as he sat chatting with a girl he met in the park.

The youngster even appeared to swap phone numbers with her while on a boys day out at the park with his father, Bush front man Rossdale.

At first, a nervous-looking Kingston needed some encouragement from his father who reassured him before he sat for a while and chatted with the young lady.

Initially the fashion forward tot, wearing jeans and a white vest, tried to hide behind his father who grinned and helped his son by talking to the girl himself.

First time: The little one came over all shy at first and had to get some encouragement from his father

Eventually Kingston built up the confidence to sit down on the wall next to her and begin talking.

In an adorable and touching moment in the young boy's life, the little girl and Kingston then appeared to swap phone numbers on their matching iPhones.

This is how you do it: Gavin, who has been married to Gwen Stefani for eight years, encouraged his son to chat to the young girl

After spending some time being pushed on the swings the father and son duo then headed back to their car to head home.

'That was a big moment...It was like watching him tie his shoes for the first time,' Gavin was over heard saying as he walked to the car.

Gavin, 44, has been married to No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani for eight years and the pair have another son, Zuma, who is two-and-a-half.

Boys time: Later the Bush front man pushed his son on the swings

Kingston's compassionate mother Gwen recently donated $1million to Save the Children’s Japan Earthquake-Tsunami Emergency Fund to help in the relief and recovery effort.

Stefani said: ‘I’ve been inspired by Japan for many years and have a true love, appreciation and respect for the Japanese people and their culture.

‘The disaster in Japan is beyond heartbreaking and I want to do anything I can to help.

‘I would never be able to make a gesture like this without the love and support of all the fans over all these years.'

'I thought they were Swedish Fish,' jokes Katie Holmes as she explains why she bought Penis Gummies for Suri

By JODY THOMPSON

Awkward: Katie Holmes explained that she initially hadn't realise what Suri had picked up in the restaurant's gift shop

It was the picture that caused consternation, amusement and not a little shock the world over over - and now Katie Holmes has explained why her three-year-old daughter Suri Cruise came to be carrying some rather X-rated sweets earlier this month.

Katie had taken Suri and some friends to a New York restaurant specialising in desserts when the little girl was spotted holding a box of 'penis gummies.'

But in an interview for The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which airs tomorrow, the 32-year-old explained she thought they were 'Swedish Fish' - fish-shaped jellies as she laughed off the incident.

Laughing it off: Katie explained what had happened to Ellen DeGeneres on her chat show in an interview which screens tomorrow

Katie explained: 'Recently, I took her to get ice cream in New York at this place called Serendipity that we go to all the time. It’s for kids.

'We go in and we are waiting for a table and she grabs some gummies that are boy part gummies. I was horrified.'

Katie was clearly still so embarrassed by the episode, she couldn't bring herself to actually say what the sweets were.

Mummy, what are these? Suri picked up the sweets in New York restaurant Serendipity 3

So the former Dawson's Creek star spelled it out to show host Ellen, saying: 'P-e-n-i-s gummies. I said, oh wow those aren’t Swedish Fish.'

Ellen, 53, interjected and joked: 'Even I know that, I know the difference there!'
Katie laughed and continued: 'They are called p-e-n-i-s gummies and they look like it. She was holding the box and I was like okay, wow we don’t need that right now.

'Because I thought if I said "put that back!" and then she’s going to say, "what is this?" And I really didn’t want to have that conversation.

'I was like, why are selling these here? This is for kids. And then it was on the cover of a magazine that I’m giving her those gummies.'

To the uninitiated, Swedish Fish are a type of chewy fruit-flavoured fish-shaped candy sold in the U.S. made for decades by Swedish candy producer Malaco, until Cadbury bought the brand from Leaf in 2006.

In the UK, they are sold in Ikea, including the more hardcore 'salmiak' flavour, or salted liquorice flavour.

Candy confusion: Katie joked that the Penis Gummies weren't exactly the same as Swedish Fish

Katie was on Ellen to promote her new TV mini-series The Kennedys, which premieres on Sunday in the U.S.

The ReelzChannel plans to show the mini-series between April 3 to April 10.
The show has also been picked up in the UK and will also be screened by both BBC2 and HISTORY next month.

The eight-parter sees Katie as Jackie Kennedy and Greg Kinnear as John F Kennedy.

However, the real-life Kennedy family and associates are said to be unhappy about the Jon Cassar-directed series, claiming its scripts were inaccurate and overly critical.

American Idol's Hayley Reinhart steals the show as Casey Abrams proves why he deserved to be saved in Elton John night

By Sophie Forbes

-Haley Reinhart wowed the crowd and was the judges clear favourite
-Casey Abrams proved why he deserved to be saved
-Tomorrow two contestants get eliminated

Star turn: Hayley Reinhart delivered the best performance of the night with her version of Bennie And The Jets as the Idol contestants took on the songs of Elton John

American Idol is now down to the top 11 contestants, but despite things becoming increasingly competitive not one person performed badly on this week's show.

However there was one performance that did stand out from the crowd last night as the hopefuls took on the hits of legendary singer-songwriter Elton John.

Hayley Reinhart wowed the judges with her rendition of Bennie And The Jets in a week where the contestants are under added pressure due to a double elimination on tomorrow's show.

The 20-year-old started her performance lounging on the top of a grand piano and looked gorgeous in a sparkling silver dress.

'That was it, Haley!' exclaimed Jennifer Lopez after her sultry performance.

'The poise, the moves, the confidence. You felt every place you were going...It was amazing,' Lopez raved.

'Best performance of the night right there!' Randy Jackson said excitedly while Steven Tyler backed him up saying, 'You. Sing. Sexy.'

Worth saving: Casey Abrams proved why he should still be on the show with Your Song

Still singing ballads: Pia Toscano stuck to her guns and sang Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me

Only today it was revealed that Hayley has become very close to another of her competitors - California's own Casey Abrams, 20, who last week got saved by the judges with their one save of the season after he was voted off in the public ballot.

Casey performed a version of Your Song and proved exactly why he deserved to be kept in the competition.

'One decision I didn't lose an ounce of sleep over was saving you,' Jennifer Lopez told him after his performance.

Big song: Lauren Alaina took on the challenge of Candle In The Wind and did an amazing job

Sticking to what you know: Scotty McCreery chose the only Elton John song with a country feel and chose Country Comfort

Pia Toscano also impressed the judges, despite choosing another ballad after being told last week to try some variation.

The brunette beauty picked Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me and powered her way through the song with not one bad note.

All the judges were impressed with Jennifer telling her the song took her to 'an otherworldly place' and they even began to argue amongst themselves about stopping her from singing ballads in the future.

Took their advice: Stefano Langone made much more contact with the audience and even flirted with Jennifer during his rendition of Tiny Dancer

Rocker: James Durbin bounced around the stage while blazing through Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting

Lauren Alaina also chose a ballad - the record breaking song Candle In The Wind - which she sang beautifully, putting a country sounding edge on the famous track.

'That is one of the greatest Lauren Alaina performances on the stage ever,' Randy told her with Steven telling her it was 'beautiful.'

'That was amazing. You sounded gorgeous,' Jennifer added. 'That was it baby, that was it.'

Fan favourite Scotty McCreery got to kick off the show with his version of, unsurprisingly, Country Comfort.

The young 17-year-old maintained his consistently good level of performance and nailed the song, receiving a standing ovation and great comments from all three judges.

The shows Casanova Stefano Langone, took note of the judges previous comments regarding his interaction with the audience and even approached Jennifer during his performance of Tiny Dancer and held her hand as he sang.

Not great: Thia Megia version of Daniel was underwhelming but not terrible

Sorry: Jacob Lusk showed his range with Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word but didn't hit the spot

James Durbin also worked the crowd as he stomped his way round the stage singing Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting.

All three of the judges voiced how much they love his energy on stage with Randy telling him: 'You look like you are enjoying yourself and that's what matters.'

The more underwhelming performances of the night included Thia Megia's rendition of Daniel which none of the judges were overly happy with.

Not bad: Paul McDonald showed his skills on the guitar as he performed Rocket Man

Worst of the night: Naima Adedapo rearranged I'm Still Standing to a reggae beat but didn't wow the judges

Jacob Lusk performed a heart wrenching version of Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word which impressed the crowd but the judges felt was overdone.

Meanwhile Paul McDonald chose Rocket Man, a fast paced pop song which was pitchy, but still got the support of the judges with Randy telling him: 'When you start hitting every note, that's the day I'm not going to like you anymore.'

The riskiest performance of the night was from Naima Adedapo who delivered a reggae inspired interpretation of I'm Still Standing.

The unusual sounding song didn't impress the judges and is likely to land the 26-year-old in the bottom three.

Tomorrow night two contestants will be eliminated and sent home.
