Revisiting Spring '11: Part 4

Confession: I don't pull off rocker-chic all that well. My hourglass shape craves lady-like clothing and my eye tends to go for florals and volume (a bit of a man repeller combo.)

This look from the Burberry Prorsum Spring '11 RTW show might pull me out of my pretty-rut. Christopher Bailey manages to reinvent the trench, again, with a collection that's a little Olivia Newton John and a little Emma Watson. Who wouldn't want to be that combination?

Revisiting Spring '11: Part 3

Getting excited for spring yet? I'm ignoring the snow and dreaming of bright colors, wooden shoes, and florals, florals, florals, oh my.

Prada's Spring '11 RTW collection took florals to another level adding sailor-inspired stripes and once again, flatforms. A bright floral skirt can come off a little too lady-like. Adding a contrasting top a la Prada only ups the cool factor.

Revisiting Spring '11: Part 2

Yesterday we explored brights with neutrals thanks to Fendi's Spring RTW show. Today, I'm obsessing over 3.1 Phillip Lim's sporty/sexy collection. No actual sports activity required, I promise.

The pants are an amazing alternative to denim made extra-sporty with a contrasting racing stripe. This is definitely something everyone can wear-with a cami underneath to keep the look decidedly nipple-free.
