Justin Bieber pelted with eggs during Sydney performance - but he doesn't crack under pressure

By Daily Mail Reporter

Justin doesn't crack: Superstar singer Justin Bieber was pelted with eggs last night in Sydney, Australia, but he didn't miss a beat and continued performing

Apparently not everyone at Justin Bieber's concert in Sydney, Australia had Bieber fever.

The teen singing sensation came under attack last night during a performance in front of thousands of screaming fans at the the city's Acer Arena.

Justin, 17, was stage singing when someone tossed six eggs from the crowd.

What just happened? Some of Justin's stunned fans took to the internet to complain about the egg incident

Footage of the incident showed two eggs landing within a metre of the Canadian superstar.

Then four more eggs appeared to fall from directly above the singer, prompting some internet users to question if the incident was all a set-up.

According Australia's Herald Sun, Justin didn't miss a beat during the egg incident.
He continued performing as a helper quickly cleaned up the mess.

The egg attack outraged many Biebers fans who quickly took to the internet.

One web user named Taylor wrote on Thejustinbiebershrine.com: 'I was soo angry when I saw this, I hate whoever did this. Why bother?'

Another fan took to Twitter a warning: 'Dear person who threw eggs at @justinbieber in Sydney, you now have over #9millionbeliebers after you, be afraid! We go harder than hard!'

Skynews Australia posted a short video of the incident on Youtube a short time after it happened.

'I love fine foods and hate the gym': Adele reveals she is happy with her weight

By SARAH BULL

Curvy and confident: Adele has revealed she is happy with her weight as she graces the cover of Rolling Stone magazine

She's the larger than life singer who has enjoyed phenomenal success so far this year.

And now Adele has continued her quest for world domination by gracing the cover of America's Rolling Stone magazine in their Best of Rock 2011 issue.

The 22-year-old singer looks stunning on the cover, with her black eyeliner and voluminous hair turning her into a glamourpuss, and insists in the accompanying interview she isn't worried about her weight and is happy with how she looks.

'I like my food': The Someone Like You singer, seen in Dublin earlier this week, said she isn't going to try and change her figure

She said: 'My life is full of drama and I won't have time to worry about something as petty as what I look like. I don't like going to the gym.

'I like eating fine foods and drinking nice wine. Even if I had a really good figure, I don't think I'd get my t**s and a** out for no one.

'I love seeing Lady Gaga’s boobs and bum. I love seeing Katy Perry’s boobs and bum.

Love it. But that’s not what my music is about. I don’t make music for eyes, I make music for ears.'

Popular: Adele was bombarded by fans outside Dublin's Olympia Theatre ahead of her show

Adele, who has been top of the UK album charts for the past 11 weeks with her second record 21, also spoke to the magazine about her struggles with stage fright.

She said: 'I'm scared of audiences. One show in Amsterdam I was so nervous I escaped out the fire exit. I've thrown up a couple of times.

'Once in Brussels I projectile vomited on someone. I just gotta bear it. But I don't like touring. I have anxiety attacks a lot.'

However, Adele admits she took inspiration from her idol Beyoncé as to how to get over her anxiety by channelling Beyoncé's alter-ego Sasha Fierce and coming up with her own version.

The album was inspired by a relationship breakdown and Adele says she will remain eternally grateful to her ex-boyfriend for his part in her life story.

She said: 'He was artistic, but not romantic. We'd just bicker over a cup of tea or the fact that my lighter wasn't working.

'He made me an adult and put me on the road that I'm travelling on.'

Is that Kim Kardashian? Socialite takes inspiration from Nicki Minaj for Jam music video in black and red wig

By Daily Mail Reporter

New look: Kim Kardashian pulled on a scarlet red and jet black wig for her the video for her new single Jam

Her long glossy locks are almost as famous as her curvy figure.

And while Kim Kardashian may constantly change her wardrobe, she rarely changes her hair.

But the reality star completely transformed her look for her new Jam music video, seemingly taking inspiration from the unlikely source of rapper Nicki Minaj.

Pulling on a scarlet red and jet black wig, the 30-year-old mogul was almost unrecognisable if it wasn't for her trademark pouty lips.

Along with the synthetic strands she pressed on acrylic nails in similar colours.

She also poured her ample curves into a pink-laced corset making her bustier that ever.

The extreme look was finished off with stage make-up which achieved an almost doll-like effect.

Kim, as always, took to her blog to upload the photos from the video shoot and to express her excitement over the new look.

'This is one of the other fun looks I tried out for my music video. It's definitely a different look from anything I've tried before! How amazing are those nails!?' she wrote.

The pictures showed Kim being made-up for the shoot and posing and pouting with her make-up artist.

It also gave her fans a sneak peek of the new music video.

The excited star released her début single earlier this week on Ryan Seacrest's KISS FM breakfast show.

The poppy dance track, Jam (Turn It Up) was produced by hit record maker The Dream, who has worked with the likes of Rihanna, Beyonce and Kanye West.

'It's a fun dance song,' Kim told Ryan Seacrest, going on to describe the response it got in Las Vegas over New Year.

'We played it in Tao in Vegas and the whole crowd was singing along in the end.'
The singer revealed she was uneasy at first about trying something new.

'I think it's only normal for me to be nervous,' she told MTV of the chance to work alongside The Dream on a song.

'I'm human… this is definitely something that I don't do. I needed to step outside my comfort zone. This is a really big deal.'

Strike a pose: Kim and her make-up artist had a ball during the transformation process

Make-over: Kim's trademark pouty lips were painted scarlet red

'This was just a fun new experience.

'I am so glad I went for it. And the proceeds to Jam are being donated to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.'.

Reviews of the new song have already started streaming in and unfortunately for Kim they aren't so kind.

Strike a pose: Kim took to her blog to upload photos from the video shoot and to express her excitement over the new look

The New York Daily News especially gave the tune a particularly scathing evaluation.

'It's official: Atlanta Housewife Kim Zolciak is no longer the worst singer ever to slither out of a reality TV series and into a recording studio,' it said.

'It's a dead-brained piece of generic dance music, without a single distinguishing feature. As for Kim's singing, it's a bit of breathing that's been auto-tuned into something vaguely approximating a vocal.'

Meanwhile Kim has been enjoying some downtime.

Finished product: Kim also posted a sneak peek of her music video clip

Yesterday she treated herself to a pampering session as she headed to the Lancer Dermatology centre in Beverly Hills for some skin care.

Dressed in a long beige cardigan and some casual jeans, she looked ready for relaxation.

But for her day-off she still couldn't bare to be without a pair of platform stilettos.

She slipped on a cream and gold pair for the occasion.

The cat that got the dream: Nicole Scherzinger says goodbye to the Dolls

By LIZ JONES

'I don't really like the Wag tag because I think it's demeaning. I mean, I'm an independent woman, says Nicole

Having slogged hard to get to the top, former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger is a lot more relaxed on the diet and fitness front these days. But that certainly doesn’t mean her solo ambitions are taking a back seat to F1 beau Lewis Hamilton’s career, as Liz Jones discovers

I have a Pussycat Doll (well, a former Pussycat Doll) in my hotel room. She keeps ordering food, and glasses of white wine, which is something celebrities, especially female celebrities, rarely do. I keep thinking of all the men I could send a text message to who would be driven insane with jealousy that Nicole Scherzinger is perched on the end of my bed.

She is all in black – skin-tight jeans, curvy jacket – and she’s complaining about the cold: London is in the grip of a deep freeze. ‘I live in California!’ she cries. ‘Please can I shut the window?’

Nicole with F1 boyfriend Lewis Hamilton, left, and performing on The X Factor

If there is one woman in the world who can outdo Cheryl Cole in the incredibly, outrageously groomed glamour-puss stakes, it’s 32-year-old Nicole.

When she stood in for Cheryl as a judge on The X Factor, her lashes were longer, her black hair reached that impossibly round posterior, the clothes seemed airbrushed on to her naturally honeyed skin, and her affinity with the contestants bordered on the motherly. She was hilarious, rather than always being on the verge of crocodile tears.

To one clearly hopeless hopeful she said, deadpan, ‘You need to work on your vocals.’ She spotted the potential of eventual runner-up Rebecca Ferguson after about one perfect note. ‘She reminds me a little bit of Billie Holiday, maybe Aretha Franklin meets Etta James,’ she says today. ‘It’s just that really, really, you know, dirty-sounding voice.’

Nicole speaks in that slightly hushed, soft whisper beloved of so many American stars, but the gentle tones belie the fact that she possesses what is clearly an inner core of titanium. I’ve been reading her Tweets, and it seems 17-hour days are routine.

The morning after we meet she says she has to be up at five. When I ask what she is going to do with the one evening she has free in London, she replies, ‘I am going to watch a film in my room and order room service!’

But when I ask how on earth she finds the time to maintain a body like hers – she’s a UK size 8 – she says she has in fact become more relaxed about her body, and is 11lb heavier than in her Pussycat heyday. She used to do that Los Angeles thing of never eating after 7pm, but with me she is tucking into the olives as if there’s no tomorrow, and it’s almost 7.30! ‘I’m a perfectionist, but I have been trying to be a little easier on myself,’ she says.

‘I love my pasta, my chocolate; I cook when I can. I love making down-home Southern cooking, and just chilling and having cakes and pies and baking stuff, you know. I’m a pretty simple girl. I’m eating now with you because I haven’t had time all day. Not a second.’

Cakes? Pies? So does she work out all the time? I read that instead of feeling like a singer, she feels like an Olympic athlete. She shakes her head. ‘I’m taking a break now. For a couple of years, at the end of the Dolls, fitness was my life. I’m a lot more relaxed now. The choreography from the dancing keeps me in shape.

If I ever feel like I need to be stronger in my mind and body then I jog. I’m a runner, I like that. But I love to sleep. I used to not like to sleep but now I love it.’

On the day we meet, she gets the news that her single ‘Poison’ is number one on the UK iTunes chart. Sales were boosted by her live performance on The X Factor. Although she had huge success with the Dolls, you feel Nicole has still to prove herself as a solo artist.

Nicole’s new single ‘Don’t Hold Your Breath’ will be released on 13 March

Katy Perry kicks off Milan Fashion Week with EIGHT outfits changes in one night

By JESSICA SATHERLEY

Pretty in pink: Katy Perry started off the night at the Vogue Eyewear dinner party for Milan Fashion Week before taking to the stage in a bright green dress

Following on from London Fashion Week, Milan kicked off their festivities last night and Katy Perry made sure to bring her fashion A-game with a whopping eight outfit changes on stage, plus a ninth before her show.

The Teenage Dream singer performed at the Assago Forum as part of Milan Fashion Week but looked more like a fast changing model than a popstar.

She started off the night as a special guest at the Vogue Eyewear dinner party in Italy’s fashion capital by arriving in a cute pink leather dress.

Candy land: Katy then changed into a candy striped gown for outfit number two as she performed on stage alongside giant lollipops and confetti

The raven-haired star couldn’t relax for long though and soon left the Quattrocento to rush over to the Assago where she was set to perform.

It was here that Russell Brand’s wife spent almost more time changing, than she did singing, showing off eight different looks on stage.

Quick change: Perry kept her blue wig on for half the show as she changed into a bright pink dress covered in white hearts before transforming into a blue princess-inspired gown

The 26-year-old started off her show wearing a bright blue wig and a green dress as she bounced around singing hits from her latest album.

She then traded in the green frock for a candy stripped ensemble to accompany the giant lollipops and confetti that adorned the stage.

Back to black: Katy ripped off the blue wig and went back to her raven-haired locks as she dressed as Catwoman before changing into a white long cape

Staying with the sugary sweet theme, Perry threw on a pink baby-doll mini-dress covered in white hearts with matching pink heels.

Outfit number four was a blue fairytale princess-inspired dress with embroidered roses covering the hemline and shoulders

Once Katy had endured enough of her blue wig, she ripped it off and transformed into Catwoman in a black spandex costume and special feline ears.

She continued to vamp up the performance with another green gown, but this one had a thigh-high split up the leg for an extra wow.

Hectic schedule: Katy kicked off her California Dreams Tour earlier in the week in Portugal and will be performing across Europe, North America, Australia and Japan during her tour

A softer side of the singer was then portrayed in a long white silk gown as she sang a slow song to her Italian audience, before being lowered down on a swing.

And for her final change she was back in another candy striped gown with a slice of orange on her left hip

Also being shown on Milan’s catwalks on the first day of Fashion Week was Gucci and Frida Giannini’s new collections.

Katy kicked off her California Dreams Tour earlier in the week in Portugal and will be performing across Europe, North America, Australia and Japan during her tour.

Bitter sweet: Katy Perry begins her candy themed world tour

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Fireworks: Katy Perry kicked off her California Dreams tour tonight in Lisbon Portugal with a stage comprised of all things sweet including candy canes and lollipops

Katy Perry kicked off her California Dreams Tour last night in Portugal giving a rousing performance of all her greatest hits.

She hid any signs of sadness of missing her husband Russell Brand who she will be away from her for long periods of time while she is travelling around the globe.

The singer looked sugary-sweet in a pink tutu dress with a candy striped bodice and red heart neckline.

Time apart: Although excited about the world tour Katy will be missing her husband of four months Russell Brand who is back in the U.S.

The I Kissed a Girl hit-maker paraded on stage with her dancers at the Campo Pequeno arena in Lisbon at the start of her nine-month world tour.

Katy's entire stage was inspired by all things sweet with a candy cane staircase and big bright lollipops as her backdrop.

She even tweeted that she is getting into the theme by eating fresh cotton candy as her pre-show ritual snack.

But the down side of Katy's lengthy tour is that she will be spending a lot of time away from her husband of four months Russell Brand.

The 26-year-old will be performing across Europe, North America, Australia and Japan but has said she has booked the equivalent of a day off for every two days she is on stage to use to see her husband throughout the year.

At her Grammy performance last Sunday Katy put paid to rumours her relationship was on the rocks with a touching performance singing Not Like The Movies.

Going strong: Katy and Russell's marriage has been plagued with rumours that it is on the rocks but they put paid to that with a show of togetherness at last week's Grammys

She revealed what appeared to be never-seen-before intimate footage from their wedding day as she was lowered on to that stage on a swing.

A video of her in a white dress was projected on to the white netting behind her.

Then images of her and Brand taking their wedding vows appeared as her backdrop.
The couple never sold or released any photographs from their October nuptials in India.

Close: Katy and Russell appeared loved up at last week's Grammys

It comes amid reports last week that the pair were receiving marriage counselling just months after getting hitched.

These rumours were strenuously denied by Perry.

But on the red carpet Katy and Russell put the rumours to rest, as they engaged in a lingering kiss in front of photographers on the red carpet.

Katy has also been revealed as the new face of Austrian jewellery designer Thomas Sabo.

She is now obliged to wear his jewellery exclusively and in return he is sponsoring her concerts.

The fourth single from Katy's Teenage Dream album will be E.T. which features Kanye West.

Bling deal: Katy has signed on to be the face of Austrian jewellery designer Thomas Sabo - she will wear his pieces in return for him sponsoring her concerts

Katie Price dons moustache and body hair as she becomes Freddie Mercury for Let's Dance

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Playing for laughs: Katie Price dresses as Freddie Mercury in drag - complete with a moustache and body hair - as she performs Queen's I Want To Break Free

During her fame, Katie Price has been known in various different guises - glamour model, wife, mother, author, reality TV star and fashion designer.

But last night, the star showed another side of her as she danced on the live episode of Let's Dance for Comic Relief.

Price, 32, dressed up in a PVC outfit, black bouffant wig, stockings and fake body hair and a moustache to recreate Freddie Mercury's iconic performance in the video for Queen's hit I Want To Break Free.

As she performed the hilarious routine with three male dancers taking on the Brian May and Roger Taylor roles, she was watched in the audience by her son Junior and daughter Princess.

After her dance, judge Graham Norton said: 'I love you Katie Price that was just fearless. Now you can safely say you are as good at dancing as everything else you do young lady!'

Price just managed to scrape through to a place in the final after comedian Russell Kane went straight through after receiving the most public votes.

He drew some of the biggest laughs of the evening as she wore a racy orange dress to become Beyonce Knowles to perform her energetic routine to her 2003 hit Crazy In Love.

A close shave: The glamour model flashes some of her faux underarm hair as she is pushed along the stage on the retro vacuum cleaner

Following Kane's performance, Norton said: 'When I’m on my deathbed I will shut my eyes and see that again! I am amazed.'

Fellow judge Greg Davies, star of The Inbetweeners, added: 'I think we might have seen the greatest dance routine on British television.'

Shake your booty: Comedian Russell Kane received the most public votes for his 'Bootylicious' rendition of Beyonce's 2003 hit Crazy In Love

It was between Price and the Waterloo Road gang for the second spot, but in the end two of the three opted for the glamour model.

Thrilled Price promised: 'I was happy to do it tonight, but to do it again... I'd better put more hair on next time.'

Sultry: Kane was praised for 'greatest dance routine on British television'

After getting through to the final, Price took to her Twitter page: 'Thank you everyone who voted. Ahhh it means I have to do it again. How scary!!
'So jealous of Russell Kane's legs ha ha.'

Before the live show, the mother-of-three admitted she was incredibly nervous and encouraged her fans to 'have a giggle on my expence (sic)'.

Following the dress rehearsal earlier on Saturday, she said: 'Seen everyone's performance and they are all fantastic we are all nervous and we are all doing it for charity.'

First through: Kane joins Let's Dance presenters Steve Jones and Alex Jones after his energetic routine

Other celebrity performers on last night's show included The Thick Of It actress Rebecca Front, who wore a garish orange dress to become Bjork in It's Oh So Quiet.
Interior design duo Colin McAllister and Justin Ryan were the first to dance to Olivia Newton John's Xanadu.

Comedian Ed Bryne was joined by ex-Strictly Come Dancing judge Arlene Phillips to become schoolboy ballet dancer Billy Elliott to We Love To Boogie, while Waterloo Road actors Philip Martin Brown and Rebecca Ryan impressed with their dance-off to Run-DMC's It's Like That.

The judging panel: (L-R) Graham Norton, Frank Skinner and Greg Davies

Other stars expected to perform for a chance in the final over the coming weeks include Lula, Noel Fielding, Caroline Flack, Adrian Edmondson, Penny Smith, Andi Osho, and Lee Nelson.

There will also be an Eighties ‘super group’ comprising of Toyah Wilcox, Clare Grogan, Chesney Hawkes and Limahl.

The show is aiming to raise awareness of Comic Relief's ongoing campaign against malaria with proceeds from the phonecalls going to the cause.

Greek goddess: Kylie Minogue is a vision in white as she kicks off her Aphrodite: Les Folies world tour in Denmark

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Greek goddess: Kylie Minogue kicks off her Aphrodite: Les Folies Tour in Herning, Denmark

She's been churning out hits for over 20 years.

But Kylie Minogue showed she can still put on as good as show as ever as she kicked off her Aphrodite: Les Folies world tour in Denmark tonight.

The 42-year-old singer embraced Greek mythology as her theme as she performed her newest singles and her classic hits from across the years to a sell-out crowd in the central Danish city of Herning.

Just like Aphrodite was depicted perched on a shell in Sandro Botticelli's iconic painting The Birth Of Venus, so was Kylie was she emerged from a golden shell on stage at the Jyske Bank Boxen arena.

Gold and white dominated the stage, with Kylie wearing several outfits inspired by Greek mythology.

One outfit saw Kylie looking like a winged messenger with feathers over her ears, a white corseted 'mullet' dress and knee-high gladiator sandals.

Ready for take-off: Kylie's blonde curls were adorned with winged ear motifs and golden beads

She was joined on stage by her large troupe of dancers, including some scantily-clad hunky males to lift the pint-sized pop star in the air.

Writing on her Twitter after her first show, she gushed: 'It was fantastic amaZing incredible I am overwhelmed.'

Aphrodite: Les Folies will take in 36 concerts across Europe - including 14 overall in the UK and a five-night stint at London's O2 Arena in April.

In April she will move on to Asia, before performing 17 gigs in North America, ending at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas in May.

Lean on me: Kylie dances with two muscular male dancers

She is also expected to announce the Australian leg of the tour any day now.

Aphrodite: Les Folies is her first world tour since KylieX2008 three years ago.
Italian designer duo Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana announced last year they would be creating her flamboyant tour wardrobe.

Hard work: The grueling tour will take in 21 countries over three months, and is expected to be expanded in Australia as well

They said: 'Kylie has always been our Piccola Principessa (Little Princess), not just because of our work together but more so because of our friendship! Working with Kylie has always been very spontaneous and easy.

'We are given free reign [sic] to create because she trusts that we know exactly what she likes.

'This will be our third tour with Kylie and this time we have revisited iconic Dolce & Gabbana pieces, adapting them to different themes of the tour. This show definitely cannot be missed.'

Britney Spears' Early-Criticized Video for 'Hold It Against Me' Arrives in Full

Receiving early criticisms on the eve of its premiere, the music video directed by Jonas Akerlund has been debuted in full for a better judgment.

Britney Spears' heavily-promoted music video for her new hit single "Hold It Against Me" has finally been unearthed in full. Directed by Jonas Akerlund, it's apparently divided into four major scenes. The first is a dance scene which features product placements, the second is her inside a TV-screen cage with small tubes attached to her fingertips, the third is Britney fighting her alter ego, and the fourth is another dance scene with different costume than the first one.

On the eve of the video premiere, a longer preview around 30 seconds was released, and Britney was immediately hit with criticisms regarding her dance number. Some of her fans blamed it to Brian Friedman since he's the choreographer.

In a defensive note on Twitter, Brian responded, "I DIDNT edit or direct the video so please do not place hostility at me if you aren't happy with what you have seen or see. Britney worked her ass off for this video and she and I hope that you all love it."

"Hold It Against Me" is the first official offering of Britney's new album "Femme Fatale" which is due in the U.S. on March 29. will.i.am has been secured as one of her collaborators in the forthcoming CD. The other artists who hope to make a duet with the pop princess are Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj.

Britney and Justin have exchanged supports toward each other on Twitter. In an interview with Extra when attending one of his "Justin Bieber: Never Say Never" movie premieres, the Canadian singer said of the Southern Belle, "I think she's very talented. Hopefully, maybe we will be able to work something out."

As for Nicki, the Young Money first lady, who has done a number of collaborations since she was embraced by mainstream Hip-Hop community in 2009, said in a separate interview, "I'm done with collabs. No more collabs for the next two years. Although - Britney's a snatch like me and she's cute. Yes. We might do something."

Video Shoot Pics: Jennifer Hudson's 'Where You At', Chris Brown's 'Look at Me Now'

While J-Hud is lonesome in the cold winter, Breezy is surrounded by his homies Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes and Kevin McCall.

Both Jennifer Hudson and Chris Brown have new music videos coming out. The former just filmed visuals for "Where You At", and the latter shot a clip for "Look at Me Now". Sneak peeks for the two upcoming videos have been offered in a form of on-set pictures.

J-Hud is snapped wearing a warm coat when doing the video shoot in Chicago during one of the harshest winter storms to date last month. The indoor filming sees her baring more skin - she drapes her sweater over her shoulders revealing lacy top. Anthony Mandler sits behind the lens. The clip soon is due to premiere on February 24.

While all of the "Where You At" sneak peeks take their focus mainly on Jennifer, the "Look at Me Now" teasers show those making cameos. One of the photos highlights Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes, and the other picture shows another best pal of Breezy, Kevin McCall, visiting the video set.

"It's a crazy video right now we shooting," Weezy shared about the Colin Tilley-directed music video with his devotees in a Ustream session. "Chris got a billion people dancing. He got these crazy contacts in. I would've put them in too, but I'm straight."

Not your most flattering look: Alexandra Burke squeezes into unflattering shiny silver leotard

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Flamboyant: But Alexandra's leotard wasn't the most flattering of stage garments

She's been taking to the stage in a range of flamboyant outfits on her first UK tour.
And Alexandra Burke's first show in front of a home town crowd at London's Hammersmith Apollo on Thursday night proved to be no exception.

Among her costumes at the latest concert in her All Night Long tour was a studded silver leotard, which was every bit as over-the-top as much of her stage gear - although it wasn't the most flattering choice for the 22-year-old singer.

The tour - which has so far taken in dates in Sheffield, Nottingham, Newcastle, Manchester, Blackpool and Liverpool - has seen Alexandra go through a number of increasingly showy costume changes.

The ticker-tape style dress which she wore in Birmingham in the week also made another appearance, with her backing dancers dressed in Gladiator style costumes.

And she also wore a bejewelled, cutaway leotard with billowing sleeves when she played Belfast last month.

Silver lady: Alexandra Burke donned the clingy leotard as one of her stage costumes at London's Hammersmith Apollo

All the outfits on the tour have been created by designer Melissa Odabash.

London-born Alexandra, who performs some of her biggest hits on the tour including Bad Boys, Broken Heels, Hallelujah and Start Without You, as well as her new single The Silence, appeared to be thrilled to be returning to the capital.

'London I have waited for this moment for so long,' she tweeted before the show, '..to perform in my home town. I can't wait!'
And afterwards she was clearly still on a high.

The dress is back: The ticker-tape style dress designed by Melissa Odabash, which Alexandra wore at previous shows, made another appearance

Just left the apollo,' she said on her Twitter page, '..Loved every minute of my day and night! love my fans so much, they go hard! I love you guys!!!!!

She explained: 'I've watched This Is It by Michael Jackson, I've watched Beyonce's new one, her old one. I'm soaking it all in.'

The All Night Long tour is the latest in a series of successful ventures for Alexandra, who was crowned the winner of The X Factor in 2008.

Since then, she has had a hit album and is currently working on a second solo record, which is expected to be released later this year.

Talking about the as-yet-untitled album, Alexandra said: 'It’s got to be sexy. So I’m going to get a lot fiercer and sexier.

'We’re just getting down and dirty with the next album. I’m going to take a lot more risks and it’s going to be insane.'

Futuristic: All the outfits on the tour have been created for Alexandra by designer Melissa Odabash

Alexandra also hinted that she will be collaborating with someone 'huge' on the record.

She added: 'I can’t say too much because my management will kill me if I let loose.
'But I have a special duet planned. I have the ideas, the collaborations in my mind - it’s all locked up in my head.'

Extensive tour: Alexandra is playing a string of dates up and down the UK including a show at London's Indig02 on February 11

As well as her musical ventures, hard-working Alexandra was recently named the face of Sure Women deodorant.

And she said recently that she is determined to make herself into a 'brand' during her time in the industry.

She said: 'I want to oversee my business, my brand. If I want to be here for the next 50 years I have to make sure this is a good little business.

'I want to make myself a brand, and make sure when I go out there what you're seeing is a brand, someone who cares about their music and creativity.'
