Justin Bieber brands CSI's Marg Helgenberger 'kinda lame' after she complains about his bratty antics on set

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

War of words: Justin Bieber with Marg Helgenberger on the set of CSI earlier this year

Justin Bieber has hit back at CSI actress Marg Helgenberger after she branded him 'kind of a brat' following his guest appearance on the hit crime drama.

The 17-year-old singer took to Twitter today to respond to the criticism, labelling her comments 'kinda lame'.

Helgenberger, 52, plays CSI investigator Catherine Willows and has received Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for her role.

Tweet: The teen addressed the actress' comments in a message to fans today

The teen heartthrob played troubled teen Jason McCann in two episodes of the show, broadcast earlier this year.

She complained that he locked a producer in a closet and put his fist through a cake meant for the cast to enjoy during his time on set.

Bieber tweeted today: 'It's kinda lame when someone you met briefly and never worked with comments on you.

'I will continue to wish them luck and be kind. I know who i am and sometimes people r just going 2 say what they want. Keep ur head up and be the man ur mama raised.'

An hour later, he added, 'Dont spread gossip and dont spread rumors about others...im a kid and i know that. #respect.'

Helgenberger made her comment during an interview with with a French reporter from Europe1.

Bad behaviour? Bieber is said to have locked a producer in a closet and put his fist through a cake meant for the cast to enjoy during his time on set

'I shouldn’t be saying this but he was kind of a brat,' she said when asked about working with the Baby singer.

'He was very nice to me. But he locked one of the producers in a closet and he put his fist through a cake that was on the cast’s table.'

Helgenberger visibly rolled her eyes when asked if his role was written to raise ratings, or because the singer is 'truly a good actor.'

'Justin Bieber wasn’t bad bad,' Helgenberger said. 'But he’d never acted before... He’s better than you’d think.'

Helgenberger's critique was very different to the official line on Bieber.

‘He did a really good job,’ CSI's executive producer Carol Mendelsohn told USA Today earlier this year.

The character was a member of an anti-government family whose foster dad was in jail and whose brother was out for revenge against the police.

The second episode ended with Bieber's character being gunned down in a stand-off with police.

Bieber said at the time that he was excited about the role.

'It was really cool because I actually - I get shot, like several times,' he said.

'I fall down and there's fake blood and everything. It's crazy how the whole process is.'

Justin Bieber befriends bullying victim Casey Heynes

By ANDREA MAGRATH

No one will bully him now: Justin Bieber has befriended Australian viral internet sensation Casey Heynes

One is a superstar, idolised by millions of fans around the globe, and the other was, until recently, an unknown student from the western suburbs of Sydney, Australia.

But when a video of school yard bullying victim Casey Heynes fighting back against his tormentors went viral, he caught the attention of Justin Bieber.

The singer, currently on tour Down Under, tracked down Casey after hearing about his story and invited him to his Melbourne concert.

Support: Justin invited Casey, who became a worldwide sensation when a video of him fighting off bullies went viral, to his concert in Melbourne

Justin, who has been vocal in his campaign to stop bullying, has called Casey a 'real life hero.'

Bieber alerted his 9.3 million Twitter followers to the YouTube video of Casey being punched repeatedly by bullies before snapping and 'body slamming' his attacker to the ground.

Since it was posted online in March, the video has been reported on and discussed in newspapers and on television shows across the globe including the Daily Mail as well as TMZ, CBS and The View.

Despite the violent way in which he reacted, support for Casey, who says he has suffered daily verbal and physical abuse since primary school, has been widespread.

Rising star: The 16-year-old bullying victim introduced Justin's hit song Never Say Never

'When I first saw it on TMZ I thought, this is crazy, like I couldn't believe it, it's amazing,' 17-year-old Justin told Casey backstage.

'It shows everybody else that you have to stand up for yourself and you can't just take it.

'The first thing you should do is go tell someone, but then you might have to hit back, sometimes you have to so I think that was important for you, especially in that situation. I'm proud of you — and so many other people are.'

Meet and greet: Justin told Casey and his family, 'I'm proud of you - and so many other people are'

Bieber invited Casey, dubbed 'Casey the Punisher' onstage, where they hugged and Justin asked him to introduce his next song Never Say Never.

After the show Justin tweeted: 'Pretty special night tonight in MELBOURNE....surprised someone me and the team look up to. A kid with a lot of courage.

'This is Casey the punisher...a kid who stood up for himself against bullying. A real life hero.

He added: 'Well 2nite we tracked down Casey and his family and flew him to the show. Thank you Casey (sic).'

Fellow internet sensations: The singer, who rose to fame on YouTube, tracked down Casey and his family and flew them to Melbourne

In the 40-second video, the bully is filmed prodding Casey in the face and stomach while fellow students laugh and encourage him.

After taking the abuse for a period of time Casey suddenly snaps, picks up his smaller attacker and slams him down onto the concrete ground in a powerful wrestling move.

Fighting back: A video of Casey being punched in his western Sydney school yard before snapping and 'body slamming' his attacker against the ground has received worldwide attention

In an interview aired in March with A Current Affair, Casey says said he had never reacted like that before, but this time, 'Everything had built up over three years.
'All the anger came out of it.'

But he does not promote violent retaliation as a way of dealing with bullies. 'Try to walk away,' he advised. 'But if a fight starts, sometimes things happen.'

With one of the globes biggest stars in his corner, it doesn't look like Casey will be bullied again.

By Daily Mail Reporter

Scowling: A grumpy Justin Bieber touches down in rainy Brisbane, Australia yesterday, where he held a hand behind his bad back

At just 17-years-old, he is the biggest teenage heartthrob in the world and already a multi-millionaire.

But the pressures of fame seemed to be getting a little much for Justin Bieber yesterday.

The Canadian singer looked distinctly grumpy as he arrived at Brisbane airport in Australia as he tweeted he had 'messed up' his back.

'Crazy 24 hours of travel...back is messed up....but we are smiling. We finally made it. AUSTRALIA we are here. Brisbane Leggo!' he wrote yesterday.

The star didn't raise a smile as he disembarked from the plane in pouring rain, wearing a casual outfit of black T-shirt, grey tracksuit bottoms and a backwards baseball cap.

And having to perform his trademark dance moves in the Australian city last night may have also taken its toll.

Don't rain on my parade: The singer didn't raise a smile as he arrived in rain lashed Sydney

'Back is in ALOT of pain but incredible show tonight. BRISBANE was #BEAST - Australia is about to be a party the next 2 weeks,' he tweeted.

Today, he was keen to take it easy, with his back still causing problems. He tweeted: 'Gonna rest up....back is killing me.'

Bieber is in Australia after completing the Indonesian leg of his world tour where he also seems to have encountered some travel problems.

'After a long 24 hours and some crazy plane trouble we finally made it out. Thank you to Indonesia and our secret day in BALI,' he wrote on his Twitter page.

Justin Bieber shows off some serious soccer skills as he trains with FC Barcelona

By JODY THOMPSON

Bend it like Bieber: Justin Bieber trained yesterday with FC Barcelona at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, the official training ground for the Catalan club

He's already a favourite of David Beckham and family - and now Justin Bieber has showed just how much he loves the world of football.

Earlier this week, the teen megastar was spotted playing against some local players in a Barcelona FC kit in Madrid as he took some time out from his world tour.

But today, he fulfilled many a footie fan's dream when he trained with actual FC Barcelona players.

Eye on the ball: The teen megastar tries to outrun Barca player Bojan Krkic

Not only that, but the 17-year-old was praised on the official FC Barcelona website, with the club's official website reporting Justin showed 'surprisingly decent skills with his left foot.'

Keepy uppy: The teen singer looked like he could keep the ball suspended in thin air

Justin was allowed to don the team's mint green second strip and kick about with FC Barcelona at their official training ground at Ciutat Esportiva at the Joan Gamper sports complex near the city.

Barça's official website said that the star turned up for training after selling out Barcelona's Palau Sant Jordi on Wednesday - despite it being on the same day as Barça v Shakhtar.

On target: Barca were impressed by the 17-year-old's skills with his left foot

Full time: Justin gets a manly handshake from FC Barcelona's Bojan Krkic

After admitting he he is a fan of the team, he then played with Thiago Alcântara, striker Bojan Krkic, Benja Martínez, Andreu Fontàs against goalkeeper Rubén Miño.

Bieber clearly played football growing up in Canada and proved that not only does he have the world at his feet, he's proved he's pretty nifty using them on a football too.

As reported by MailOnline earlier this week, the Bieber-Beckham fanclub is mutual, with Victoria earlier posting up a cardboard cut-out of the star on a sunlounger next to her husband.

On song: The star had thrilled his Spanish fans the night before with a concert at Barcelona's Palau San Jordi

It came days after David revealed their son Romeo asked if they could call their new baby after him.

Beckham, whose wife Victoria is pregnant with their fourth child, was speaking to American chat show host Jimmy Kimmel when he shared the story.

He added that when they told Romeo that he was going to have a sister, and not another a brother, the eight-year-old then asked if they could call her Justine Bieber instead.

Spot the cut-out: David Beckham and Justin Bieber cosy up on a sunlounger... but only one of them is real

By Daily Mail Reporter

Spot the cut-out: Victoria Beckham posted a photo of husband David sitting beside a cardboard cut-out of Justin Bieber

The Beckhams' son Romeo is such a huge fan of Justin Bieber that he's asked his parents to name his baby sister after the singer.

And according to Victoria Beckham's Twitter page, it looks like the Canadian pop star is getting even closer to the family.

In a photo on her micro-blogging site, her husband David was seen reclining on a sunlounger next to Justin in the light of the evening sunshine.

But on closer inspection, only one of the pair was real - Bieber was a cardboard cut-out.

The pregnant designer, 36, Tweeted: 'OMG!!!! A visitor just arrived!!!! Guess who????
'And now he is sunbathing... He took my sunbed.'

She then posted the picture of her 35-year-old husband with the Bieber cut-out - which presumably belonged to eight-year-old Romeo.

After his impromptu photo session, Beckham headed to the Staples Center to watch a Los Angeles Lakers game with best friend, football agent Dave Gardner.

Twitter fun: Victoria posted the photo on her Twitter page

Last week, Beckham revealed that Romeo asked his parents if they could name their unborn baby girl after Bieber.

He told U.S. chat show host Jimmy Kimmel: 'When we got (initially wrongly) told it was a boy, my middle son Romeo said, "How about Justin Bieber as a name? Justin Bieber Beckham?"

'So now we know it's a girl, he said, "Well, how about Justine Bieber Beckham?" '

He said Romeo and his six-year-old brother Cruz were big fans of the pop star and had met him at his concert.

Best buddy: Beckham later went to watch the LA Lakers play the Utah Jazz at the Staples Center with Dave Gardner

When Kimmel joked that Beckham could get Bieber to deliver him a pizza or mow his lawn, the LA Galaxy star added: 'The funny thing is, I was on the way to school drop off the other day and my youngest said, "Do you think we could have a play date with Justin Bieber?" I think he's a little bit busy.'

Last summer, the Canadian singer offered to perform a private concert for the Beckham boys if their father gave him private football tuition in exchange.

Bieber said: 'I am sure he would do anything to make his three boys happy and if I am their favourite artist I would happily come and put on a private show at the Beckham household.

'All I would ask in return is that we go into his yard for an hour afterward and he teaches me all those crazy things he can do with a soccer ball.'

Maybe it time for a better belt Bieber? Justin's trousers fall down in public

By Daily Mail Reporter

Pesky pants: Justin Bieber nearly lost his trousers on the streets of Spain yesterday after stepping out in a pair of low cut jeans

Low rise jeans for men is a style that has been around for some time now.

But Justin Bieber took the trend a bit too far and nearly lost his trousers on the streets of Spain yesterday.

Despite wearing a studded belt, the 17-year-old heartthrob was forced to keep hiking up his pesky pants.

And luckily there wasn't a throng of female fans that are usually on hand to witness the sighting.

Because Bieber exposed more than he bargained for with his backside covered by some purple material on display.

Justin paired his urban look with an oversized red sweater and a baseball cap by Obey - a popular street-wear label founded by American contemporary artist Shepard Fairey.

The teen star accessorised the look with some black high-top sneakers and a large diamond encrusted medallion - popular with many famous rap stars such as Pharrell Williams and Snoop Dogg.

He was spotted in the outfit whilst grabbing a snack at McDonald's in the capital of Madrid.

Accompanied by burly minders, the Never Say Never Star indulged in a beverage while one of the bodyguards carried some lunch.

Some say that the ultra-low-rise pants look for young men originated in jails, where prisoners aren't allowed to wear belts.

Hungry: He was spotted in the outfit whilst grabbing a snack at McDonald's in the capital of Madrid

But it's has turned into fashion statement these days with many young boys embracing the trend.

Justin also donned a similar look for the Spanish premiere of his popular film Never Say Never this evening.

He wore another pair of low slung jeans in light grey which he paired with a matching hoodie by Kings Rowe and some trainers.

Justin is in Spain for two shows of his My World tour.

But whilst busy with his day job, the singer has found time to have fun too.
Yesterday he proved himself to be something of a natural left-foot as he took to the football pitch.

He was spotted working up a sweat in a Barcelona FC kit on the outskirts of Madrid.

After tearing up the AstroTurf for a while the star managed to score a goal as he competed against some local teens.

Cool customer: Justin also donned a similar look for the Spanish premiere of his film Never Say Never this evening

And in true sporting tradition, Justin lifted up his top and bared his chest to celebrate his victory.

Before his trip to Spain, Bieber was in Berlin performing.

During one of the concerts he decided to give his mother a special birthday treat by presenting her with a cake on stage, but it all went terribly wrong when her hair caught on fire.

The teen sensation surprised mother Pattie when he asked her to come out on stage.

‘Mum, where are you?’ He said in front of thousands of screaming fans and encouraged her to step out from backstage.

Bend it like Beckham: Yesterday he proved himself to be something of a natural left-foot as he took to the football pitch

Pattie mouthed ‘Oh my god! Thank you.’ As her son said: ‘This is for you, and I need everyone to sing happy birthday.’

But as the crowd belted out the song and Pattie started to blow out her birthday cake candles, her hair suddenly caught on fire from one of the flames.Justin quickly jumped to his mother’s rescue though and caught the flame in his hand to put it out.

After the incident the singer posted on his Twitter page: ‘Sick show in Berlin brought @studiomama on stage 2 sing her happy bday but she lit her hair on fire with the candles. Lol. I saved her. ‘Don’t worry it wasn’t bad.’

His mother, who is also his manager, turned 35 during his My World Tour through Europe.

Disaster: In Berlin, Justin decided to give his mother a special birthday treat by presenting her with a cake on stage, but it all went terribly wrong when her hair caught on fire

Meanwhile Justin is up for awards for a new breed of MTV Award Show - the OMA's, which stands for the O Music Awards.

The awards celebrate talent in digital music.

The OMAs will be held on April 28 across multiple platforms and screens including MTV.com, VH1.com, and LogoTV.com and will include heavy integration with social media.

Voting for the awards is due to start soon in the US.

And in true sporting tradition, Justin lifted up his top and bared his chest to celebrate his victory.

Canadian-born Bieber may be more used to soccer back home.

But if he wanted to scrub up on his football knowledge, he could no doubt confide in David Beckham, who is a former Real Madrid player.

Left-foot action: The singer tackles some of his opponents...

He shoots: The 17-year-old then curled the ball towards the goal

In a recent interview Beckham actually name dropped Bieber, saying that his young Romeo asked if they could call their new sibling Justin Bieber.

Beckham, whose wife Victoria is pregnant with their fourth child, was speaking to American chat show host Jimmy Kimmel when he shared the funny story.

He added that when they told Romeo that he was going to have a sister, and not another a brother, the seven-year-old then asked if they could call her Justine Bieber instead.

Bieber has two dates in Spain this week as part of his tour.

He scores: Victory for the Bieber as he hits the back of the net

Meanwhile his girlfriend Selena Gomez has said that she has no plans to duet with him.

The 18-year-old insisted that she would rather keep her personal life and career separate.

Asked if she had considered teaming up with her beau, she told E!: 'I don't know.

You know, with my friends, I always make sure that I try to keep like family and business separate because it doesn't really go well sometimes... I don't know about that. We'll see.'

Gomez added that she hopes to take her career in a different direction when she gets older.

'Ultimately I'd like to slow everything down and just do acting for when I'm older,' she explained.

'But right now I have a passion for music. I'm young and I love travelling and I'm kind of embracing all that.'

Are the screaming girls wearing thin? Justin Bieber avoids his fans by sneaking in the back door

By ANDREA MAGRATH

Caught: Justin Bieber has a rare moment of quiet as he sneaks in the back door of the O2 Arena in Berlin

He is followed everywhere he goes by hordes of squealing fans.

But the constant pandemonium may be getting to Justin Bieber, who looked exhausted as he sneaked in the back door of Berlin's O2 Arena today.

His rare covert arrival will have disappointed a group of fans who were waiting for him at the front entrance.

Missing out: His eager fans waited by the front entrance but didn't get to see their idol

The 17-year-old singer is usually happy to greet the 'Beliebers' that are a near-constant presence wherever he goes, but today it appeared as though Justin needed a rest from the tween screaming.

He looked exhausted as he made his way into the venue with his head down and surrounded by burly bodyguards and minders.

He flashed a weary 'peace' sign at photographers, but his expression made it clear that he was in no mood for the press today.

His obvious fatigue is understandable, given his non-stop schedule. Justin is in the middle of a world tour.

Hiding: The singer ducked his head and was surrounded by burly bodyguards

Strain: Justin flashed a peace sign but looked exhausted after months on a world tour

He has five dates left on the European leg of the tour before stops in Tel Aviv, Kuala Lumpar and Jakarta, before heading to Australia.

The teen will finally get a break after the final show in Manila on May 10.

Justin was pictured looking distracted and forlorn during a press conference this week in Antwerp, before attempting to cover himself while rushing back to his car through a crush of fans afterwards.

The Never Say Never singer is usually far more fan-friendly, and goes out of his way to greet his 'Beliebers'.

Too much? The singer, currently on a world tour, was pictured looking forlorn during a press conference in Antwerp

Protection: This week Bieber covered himself with a board as he made his way through crowds in Antwerp

When Justin was locked inside his hotel in Liverpool last month because police feared the thousands of fans camped outside would turn into a riot situation, he expressed frustration and managed to negotiate an appearance on the balcony to greet them.

Hysterical fans were seen sobbing after catching a glimpse of Justin in Paris last week, in scenes reminiscent of Beatlemania.

After the phenomenal success of Bieber documentary Never Say Never, which grossed over $72 million, reports this week say that he may be setting his sights on Hollywood.

Pandemonium: He was greeted by hysterical fans in Paris before that

Rumours that the teenage heartthrob and Ashton Kutcher may be teaming up for new comedy film Would Kenny Do have emerged.

According to reports, the two are currently locked in talks with Hollywood big shots about taking on the lead roles.

The film is about the relationship between a 17-year-old and his thirty-something self, and Ashton is reportedly being considered to play the older version of Bieber.
