After lengthy discussions with 11-14 year old Broadway kids about "showmances" and who-likes-who, Alex and I came to the realization that NOTHING CHANGES. They were stressing about showing interest and talking to their crushes and, the ultimate show of affection, adding them as friends on Facebook. At about double their age, I'm currently struggling with the same thing. I'm crushing a little on someone, and I keep going to add him then changing my mind. I want him to add me. I'm so old school that way. I hate being the pursuer. I hate people knowing I'm interested at all until I know they are. But then again, it's FACEBOOK and maybe I'm being way too dramatic? And lame? What do you think? Add and talk to him or let him come to me?
