Many visitors to Argentina end up going home with a traditional mate cup, tango music recordings or Che Guevara memorabilia.

But Katie Price decided to commemorate her romantic trip to her new boyfriend Leandro Penna's native country in a rather different way - by getting a new tattoo.

The glamour model, 32, opted to have another etching added to her inner left arm - alongside her older designs of a crown and her daughter's name 'Princess'.


Price also had her first husband Peter Andre's Christian name above the crown, but had a cross tattooed on top of it in soon after they split in 2009.

But as she posted a photo of herself apparently getting another tattoo in the same place - perhaps she is finally covering up all trace of her tribute to her ex.

Although she teased fans by announcing she had a new tattoo and posting a photo on her Twitter page, the glamour model declined to show fans what it looked like, preferring to wait a few days for the redness to subside.

She wrote: 'In the middle of having a new tattoo ...OMG it HURTS grrrr ahhhhhh.'

Her tattooist Mariano Antonio, from the American Tattoo boutique in the upmarket Buenos Aires area of Recoleta, also Tweeted: 'Gorgeous Katie Price is getting a tattoo now! Lovely lady ;) and handsome Leandro Penna. A cute couple.'

He also uploaded a photo of him in action with the needle and promised followers his work of art would be ready for viewing soon.


When one Twitter user asked the tattooist what design he etched on her skin, he replied: 'She's gonna show you in a few days!'

Price's new tattoo will be her sixth in total - she also has a ribbon around her right ankle hanging down over her foot and a bow on her lower back.

Her decision to get a sixth tattoo contradicts a claim she made last year that she was 'needle-phobic' while she described going through IVF with soon-to-be second ex-husband Alex Reid.

Antonio is the same tattooist who etched a spiral design across 25-year-old Penna's back in March - just a couple of weeks after he met Price at Elton John's post-Oscar party in Los Angeles.

She told fans she would be returning to the UK this week as she is due to sign some of her books at a WHSmith in Welwyn Garden City in Herts on Saturday.

She's been in Argentina since April 15 after just a week back in Britain following her initial trip to Buenos Aires, which lasted just four days.

During her trip, she's met Penna's parents Mercedes and Hector and enjoyed lots of sports, including sky-diving and horse-riding.

Last week, the couple narrowly avoided serious injury after their car crashed when two horses suddenly ran into the road.

Her spokesperson told MailOnline at the time: 'The accident was quite horrific and she was quite shaken up but after she visited the chapel she did get on a horse for five or ten minutes as they were horses at the hotel where they were staying.'

It is understood the mother-of-three suffered cuts on her hands and a jarred neck after the incident, which happened at 1.30am on April 23 around three miles from their hotel Estancia San Pedro Viejo in Cordoba.

And witnesses said the only reason she and the Argentine model survived the crash.

Meanwhile, Price's two youngest children Junior and Princess have been holidaying in Cyprus with their father, her ex-husband Peter Andre.

In this latest episode of their Argentinian love story, Katie and Leandro spent the day shopping together unable to keep their hands off each other.

There didn't seem to be one moment when the amorous couple weren't touching; they were either walking the streets with their arms wrapped round one another, holding hands or simply kissing.

At one point Leandro cheekily put his hand on his girlfriend's bum.

The model, also known as Jordan, wore a flesh-coloured top, with a matching scarf, tight jeans with bleach spots all over them and a pair of army boots.

She accessorised the outfit with a Gucci bag and a large pair of shades.

Meanwhile her model boyfriend wore a grey t-shirt, jeans and a pair of Converse-style black trainers - again, accessorised with a pair of trendy Ray-Bans.

Earlier in the week they were snapped enjoying a romantic moment in a picturesque mountainous region of Argentina, a few days later they went for a horse ride and again were pictured in a series of embraces.

Just yesterday they released pictures from a boat ride on Lake Chiquita, in Leandro's hometown Cordoba, where they appeared to be imitating the pose from Titanic.

Although their relationship is still in its infancy (Price split with ex-husband Alex Reid in January) the couple will have been brought closer together by their recent brush with death.

On Sunday morning Katie and Leandro were involved in a terrible car accident which left two horses dead after the stallions ran into the road smashing into the 4X4 the couple were driving in.

Katie later told papers that she felt she was ‘lucky to be alive’ following the accident and as a keen rider she was left particularly distraught by the death of the animals.

She tweeted: ‘I'm so lucky to be alive @leandro__penna saved my life and the others in the car he is a hero to us for this.’

The glamour model was left with severe whiplash after two stallions ran into the road and smashed into her 4X4, which boyfriend Leandro Penna was driving.

And sobbing after the terrifying accident which left the horses dead, Katie admitted she was stunned she survived.

She told the Daily Mirror: 'It's a miracle that we're alive. It was absolutely terrifying. it all happened in a flash and I have absolutely no idea how I wasn't badly injured.

'I feel so lucky, but more than anything I'm just distraught about the horses. It was so upsetting.'

But while Katie - also known as Jordan - was shaken by the crash, she was said to be most upset about the death of the horses - being a keen rider herself.

A source told The Sun: 'Jordan probably loves horses more than people, they're her life. To have watched the animals die like that would have been extremely distressing for her.'

A spokesperson for the model said: 'There was an accident and sadly two horses were killed. Katie and Leandro are OK, though understandably shaken.'

Tow-truck driver Raul Reinoso told The Sun he pulled up shortly after the crash and spoke to Katie and Leandro.

He told the newspaper: 'They said the horses were galloping in front of them and suddenly just went up in the air. It must have happened very quickly.

'They said Leandro had time to slam on the brakes. They waited and the car got towed by another car to the farm. I saw them today and they seemed fine.'

Katie and Leandro flew into the Argentine capital Buenos Aires last Friday, before heading 400 miles north to Despeñaderos, located on the outskirts of the city of Cordoba.

Katie originally spent just four days in South America earlier this month before jetting back to the UK earlier than expected to sort out issues in her impending divorce from Alex Reid.

Leandro said at the time: 'We have to rush back to London again. It's something that came up at the last minute. It's nothing to do with Katie's divorce, it's work-related.

But, as Katie Price attended a charity polo match in Argentina yesterday, the horses appeared to be the last thing on her mind as she struggled to keep her eyes, and hands, off boyfriend Leandro Penna.

The 32-year-old model and her model beau snuggled up as they sat on a haystack in between matches at the event at Pompeya Polo, in the quiet town of Ashochinga.

Wearing a pair of skinny jeans teamed with knee-high brown boots, white vest top and brown knitted jumper, Katie looked happy and relaxed as she strolled around the venue with her boyfriend.

And later in the day it seems the heat got too much for the mother-of-three and she took off her jumper to reveal her sheer white vest top underneath - unintentionally also revealed the polka dot bra she was wearing.

But while it is Katie who is the more well-known party in the relationship in the UK, Leandro is the star in his home country, and was bombarded with autograph requests from young fans as he took in the sights and scenes at the event.

She said of Bowers, whom she dated from 1998 to 2000: ‘He was the only guy who completely taught me about having your heart broken.

‘I’ve always said that Dane’s the one who did that. Because of Dane, he’s made me have my barriers up and even with Pete, I’d like to say they all went down, but there were a couple still up.’

But it appears the glamour model has well and truly been introduced to the model's parents on her second visit to South America.

Earlier today, the mother-of-three joined Hector and Mercedes Penna for lunch at a stunning hilltop restaurant in the Argentine hamlet of La Cumbrecita - a couple of hours drive from their home in Despeñaderos.

Posting photos from the luncheon at La Colina restaurant on her Twitter page, Price gushed how well it was going.

During the two-hour drive from his hometown to the mountainous region, the couple stopped off for a photo on the roadside.

She was meant to be running the London Marathon this weekend but after pulling out of the race last week it appears Katie Price is looking to get away from it all.

The glamour model and her toyboy Leandro Penna, who has recently returned to the UK after a short trip home in Argentina, were spotted at Heathrow yesterday.

But while Katie has had to pull out of the London race her brother Danny, who she has been training with, is set to run the Boston marathon on Monday so perhaps the pair are heading stateside to support him.


Katie will no doubt, be disappointed she is injured and unable to take part in the race on Sunday and she and Leandro could be jetting away from the U.K. to cheer her up.

Just days before the 26.2 mile London run Katie pulled out and posted a message to her official website.

She said: 'It is with great regret that I have had to pull out of this year’s London Marathon. I’ve been training really hard, but it became apparent at the Silverstone half marathon (6th March) that my knee is not strong enough to withstand extensive runs.

'My brother Danny, who was part of the team running the marathon with me, is now going to be doing the Boston Marathon [18th April]. We have obviously had a lot of generous donations made to us and we hope to keep raising more money through him.

Katie and Leandro, who appear to be inseparable, have rubbished claims the couple are engaged.

Posting to her Twitter page Katie posted: 'People keep saying is it true I'm engaged! We are not engaged, we haven't spoke about getting engaged and I don't intend to get engaged.'

Katie was casual in bright blue tracksuit bottoms, pink trainers and a loose black vest, while sister Sophie kept cool in a black dress and flip flops.

Perhaps 32-year-old Katie left Leandro, 25, at home to carry out some odd jobs around the house - this weekend she tweeted, in an apparent dig at one or some of her exes: 'Its so good to see a man that's good at DIY.'

Katie also compares the Argentine model to her ex-husband Alex Reid in the latest episode of her Sky Living reality show, saying she fancies Leandro far more than the cage fighter.

Despite plans to spend a week in Buenos Aires with her toyboy boyfriend, the glamour model was clearly missing her children and arrived back in the UK earlier.

Perhaps feeling jet-lagged, the 32-year-old was in no mood to be photographed as she arrived at Heathrow following her 13 hour flight across the Atlantic.


Argentine model Penna, 25, put a protective arm around his girlfriend of six weeks as they walked through the airport.

Writing on her Twitter, she said: 'Back in England to spend my week with the children for Easter holiday wooooooo.'

Although Penna originally planned for Price to meet his parents, who lived 400 miles away from the Argentine capital in Despeñaderos, but they didn't have enough time during her whirlwind visit.

After spending a month with Price in her Surrey home, Penna jetted home alone last Thursday, before his girlfriend joined him four days later.

During their break, Penna was spotted showing Price his favourite restaurants and shops.

But there's no word yet if Price has managed to pick up any Spanish on her trip... or if Penna's English has improved.

Penna said he was amazed by the paparazzi attention they had received in his homeland.

He said: 'Katie is surprised, we did not expect this. We're very happy and are loving the weather here.'

She might be cutting short her trip to Buenos Aires, but it seems Katie Price and Leandro Penna are still making the most of the time they do have together in the Argentinian capital.

The couple hit the town on Wednesday night for a romantic dinner at the Argentine restaurant Happening, located in the Puerto Madero district of the city.

And while the model, 25, kept things casual in a black leather jacket and jeans, Price stood out in a pair of unusual black mesh leggings, which she teamed with a black top and sandals.


The couple, who walked to the restaurant hand in hand, appeared to be trying to keep a low profile, wearing sunglasses and trying not to meet anybody's eye.

However Leandro couldn't resist acknowledging photographers at one point as he grinned and gave them a thumbs up gesture.

And once inside the restaurant the pair showed more affection for one another, cuddling up during the meal.

Katie had originally planned to meet Leandro's family during her trip to Buenos Aires - but it was revealed on Wednesday that the meeting has been postponed as she is cutting her trip short due to work commitments.

The 32-year-old, who is currently divorcing second husband Alex Reid, will return to the U.K on Friday.

She will however return to South America to meet Leandro's former politician father Hector and mother Mercedes, a hotel owner.

We're flying back to London together on Friday and returning to Argentina again once we're done and then I'll take Katie to see my parents.

'The idea now is that Katie gets to know Buenos Aires a little. She loves what she's seen so far. She really likes everything.'

Katie had originally planned to stay until Monday before parting company with her new boyfriend, who has been working for an Argentine TV channel.

Meanwhile, Leandro has said in an Argentine radio interview that the thing he admires most about his new girlfriend is her talents as a businesswoman and, he added, 'professional singer'.

He also admitted that he had been unprepared for how his life would be while dating the model.

'She warned me that it was going to be chaos,' he said, 'but I couldn't have anticipated how much!'

During their whirlwind romance, pictures of Katie Price and her new man Leandro Penna putting on public displays of affection have become commonplace.

And the couple continued their canoodling in Argentina, where Katie arrived yesterday to meet up with her toyboy.

But there was once subtle difference in the pair's actions as they stepped out for lunch and some shopping in Buenos Aires - Leandro, usually trailing behind, was the one taking charge.


While the 25-year-old model was virtually unknown in the UK before becoming Katie's arm candy, he is just as famous as his reality star girlfriend back home.

And while he was happy to let Price, 32, take the lead on nights out and at events in London during his extended stay, Leandro is clearly more comfortable to play the alpha male on his native soil.

He confidently strode ahead of Katie as they left a show store in the Argentinian capital, and for once Katie also appeared happy to take a back seat as she clutched Leandro's hand.

Inside the store the reality star perched on her boyfriend's knee and wrapped her arm around his shoulders as they cuddled and whispered in each other's ears.

Katie wore a pair of loud black and white leggings with a crochet black knit top over a white vest for their day out.

Her trip to Leandro's home turf won't be all shopping and long lunches, though.
He revealed his plans to introduce Katie to his family in this week's OK! magazine.

'I want to take her to Córdoba to and have fun with me there,' he said. 'I'm going to introduce her to my family, and that's a thing I've only done a few times in my life.'

'I need her to know who I am and where I come from,' Leandro added. 'I want her to know my life, my story, my world.

'Probably we will go to my house in Despeñadero. My parents were born there, also my brothers. I'm going to take her there, to my sister's land, I want her to know all of that.'

Despite only spending a couple of days apart, Katie and Leandro looked overjoyed to be back in each other's arms when she flew in yesterday.

The reality TV star was snapped giving the male model a smacker on the lips as she arrived at Ezeiza Airport, Buenos Aires.

Leandro looked happy to see Katie even if he was in the middle of a phone conversation as they embraced on her arrival.

But he was soon beaming from ear to ear as they walked away from the terminal and to a waiting car to whisk them off to his home.

The couple have only been dating for five weeks after they met at Elton John's post-Oscars party in Los Angeles at the end of February.

But they have been inseparable since, with Leandro jetting to the UK a week after they met.

He went home to Argentina on Thursday and last night, Katie jetted out to the South American country to join him.

And although she is only believed to be there for a week, she was laden down with five suitcases as she jetted out of Heathrow yesterday.

During her trip to South America, she is planning to meet his parents and also explore possible business interests.

Accompanying the model were her Sky Living film crew, who will no doubt capture all the Latin action on-screen for her reality show.
