"I’m absolutely ordinary — well, except for bad things like all the near-death experiences and being so clumsy that I’m almost disabled."

*ANYONE know where that quote is from? Come on, people!*
OUCH. I can't believe I hurt my ankle again. I'm seriously so lame. I don't even know how I did it! I vaguely remember twisting it but I mean, that happens a lot. I went to the doctor and they don't think it's fractured, just did something to the ligament. I wore my Toms today because my foot is swollen and they're roomy and comfortable but apparently, they're terrible for my feet. I have to wear Nike's to work tomorrow and I have no idea how to make them cute. It's too hot for my Lulu pants-they're so thick. A skirt and gym shoes? Gross.

At this point, the pain is ALMOST worth looking like this. (Note: This is an actual pic I took in Forever 21 today. Sorry it's sideways.)

I have super dorky Merrell's that I can try to work; at least they're like fake cute. Tell me: How do you make comfort and fashion work together?

Happy USA/Twilight's Worst Hair

I'm feeling quite down today and I usually try not to blog when I'm feeling like this as I'm not really a "misery loves company" kind of girl. My neck is having a rough couple of days so I'm stuck in the apartment missing the 4th of July festivities. On one hand it's WAY too hot and fireworks are really for when you have kids and listening to my neighbors sing country (?) music is killing me. And the smell of meat grilling? Vomit. On the other hand, my roommates are going to a fireworks party at Chelsea Piers which sounds different and fun and there's also a midtown party inside that sounds enjoyable. Instead I'm sitting here eating a Skinny Cow ice cream cone watching Remember Me (which is depressing me more) and reading the Sunday Times. Oh, and contemplating why Summit couldn't afford better wigs for Eclipse.

Seriously, it's a bit ridiculous.

I know Nikki Reed said that she dyed her real hair in the first movie but it was so horrible and uncomfortable that she wore wigs for the next two. You know what? I've gone platinum blonde too and other than a little breakage, it's not that bad and wait, how much money is she getting paid for this? The wig doesn't look much better then my Sookie Halloween one which was literally plastic.

Kristen's, below, isn't as bad but it still look fake. It's WAY too long (Bella is not fussy enough for super long hair) and too one color.

Jackson Rathbone (in the middle) has the worst of all. What IS this mess?? I mean, what are they thinking? He's sort of cute in real life but looks terrible as Jasper.

Last but definitely not least, is Ashley Greene's unfortunate bob. I know Alice is supposed to be all cute and spunky but I think they could have gone with a pixie cut over this mess.

Aside from the hair, I did love the movie! It had some campy moments ("I AM hotter then you") and we kept feeling like the gorgeous Xavier Samuel (below, left) was about to break into song a la West Side Story (OK that would've been pretty amazing.)

Hope you all have better 4th of July plans! Go see Eclipse. ;)

Eclipse LA Premiere!!!

After reading the books, and seeing both of the terrible, while still being amazing, movies and being surrounded by all the hoopla and craziness, I STILL am screaming like a 14 year old over Eclipse. I can't wait for Tuesday! The premiere is in LA tonight and I couldn't wait to see what the group would be wearing. Here are a few and run over to Just Jared or E Online for more updates! (E is live streaming!)

Ashley Greene, left, in Alexis Mabille Couture with Nikki Reed in Marchesa
Maybe I'm in a mood, but I kind of hate them both (the dresses not the girls.) I'm all for shapeless dresses, I don't think it needs to be tight to be sexy, but the color of Ashley's really makes it look like a sheet. Nikki looks pretty enough but I feel like I've seen it before. YAWN.

I don't know who Taylor Lautner is wearing but it looks amazing on him. He's such a classic movie star and dresses like it. Team Jacob!

As much as I love the classic Taylor, Robert Pattinson's Gucci suit is making me SWOON. Love the fit and color. Hating the hair though. Nineties 90210, much?

On a positive note, I'm liking Kristen Stewart more and more. I'm not feeling the same way about her Ellie Saab dress. It's not that it's really strange, it just doesn't seem HER at all. It looks like someone made her wear it and it's hurting her soul every minute.

Anna Lynne McCord and Kellen Lutz are a really pretty couple. And they seem cute, all outdoors-y and stuff. I hope his horrible dye job is for a role, but he wins major points for the beautiful suit. I like Anna Lynne's nude dress and the bronze make-up. It suits her California girl look.

What do you think? Do you like the dresses?

I'm Free!/Team Jacob

I was 99% sure I was being picked for the jury. There were 4 of us left and they needed one more juror. The trial was about a 21 year old boy who claims he was assaulted by a bouncer at a club on Long Island. If we were picked for the jury, we had to decide if he was hurt by the bouncer and if the club is liable for it and by how much. I said that I would feel really sympathetic for the kid and not be opposed to giving him a lot of money from the club. That didn't go over very well! No one ever said I wasn't opinionated! In all seriousness, I would have been fair but I'm SO glad they didn't choose me. To celebrate my happiness I bought the new GQ with Taylor Lautner on the cover. You're welcome.

MtV Movie Awards: Red Carpet Part 3

The Queen Betty White and the adorable Bradley Cooper. This is how you do casual dress guys!

Sandra Bullock's Oday Shakar sequined dress is beautiful as was her speech (even though no one thought for a second she was going anywhere.)

I like Amanda Seyfried's sheer dress but she's looking a little scrawny. Where'd her curves go?

Even uber-hot Rob can't get away with a sloppy white tee, a SHORTER black jacket and khakis. He needs to take some cues from Taylor.

Russell Brand and Katy Perry are going to have the hottest wedding in the world.

I heart Paul Rudd. One time, I went by his apartment in the East Village and he was there...with his wife and I ran.

Cute jumpsuit on Elizabeth Reaser but the annoying hair!

iCarly! Miranda Cosgrove looks so cute and age appropriate and her legs look a mile long in nude heels.

I actually don't mind this dress on Stephanie Pratt. It's kind of on-trend and fun. I'm imagining what it would look like on someone without horrible extensions and a fake tan.

I don't know why but I just don't get Jessica Biel. I DO get her super cute Giambattista Valli dress. Also, her hair is very shiny. I wonder what she uses.

MTV Movie Awards: Red Carpet Part 2

Confession: I squeal when I see Zac Efron! Sigh. Vanessa Hudgens' Jenny Packham dress looks almost exactly like what I wear to bed. You're Zac's GF (or beard.) Step it up.

OK, the positive? This crazy Pamella Roland jumpsuit is covering her SCRAM anklet. At least she's not showing it off! I just don't get who lets her go out like this. Lindsey, I miss you!

Breaking News!! I found a picture of Kristen Stewart smiling! It's easy to forget that she's actually really pretty. I love the Dolce and Gabbana dress on her and the ponytail is super cute. Obviously, I still hate her. (Did you see the way Rob was looking at her?!!?)

MTV Movie Awards: Red Carpet Part 1

Remember when the MTV Movie Awards were a huge deal? It was always on Sunday night and I always stayed up way too late and was so tired on Monday. Now, it's pretty boring (or I'm pretty old.) There is the beautiful Robert Pattinson (although I AM Team Jacob) and Christina and Katy performances. There's also the clothes! It's MTV so I love to see people get a little crazy. Let's take a look at some of the first arrivals.

BEST DRESSED maybe? I'm obsessed with this Zac Posen dress on Anna Kendrick. The shoes rock with it but I'm not feeling the hair. It's supposed to be bed-head and it looks really dirty.

Whenever I see Scarlett Johansson looking amazing, in Dolce and Gabbana, it makes me want to go back blonde. Stunning!

I LOVE Nikki Reid's Miu Miu dress and her two-toned hair is so pretty.

Hottie Mark Salling could have tried a harder. The Superdry shirt is cute but it IS a red carpet, man. Dress up a little.

YES. Thanks Christina for bringing a little MTV crazy. Her chain-linked dress in Versace Atelier.

*Thanks Just Jared for the awesome pictures!*
