Girls Aloud Summer

Girls Aloud over the past year seem to have shot right to the top of our fashion icons. It probably helped that Cheryl

raised their public profile even further, but we absolutely love everything the girls wear! Each one has such a unique style that they have created for them self which we love as it gives them all a separate identity. At the Brit awards last year they turned up in the frocks above which just optimises how stylish and gorgeous they all are.

They worked a beautifully co-ordinated ensemble of natural colour tones which blended together to look simply stunning, and honey tones seemed to be the order of the day. This style is absolutely perfect for the high summer wedding/events season. Wearing light natural tones in chic dresses (long or short), matched with some strappy sandals and a nice clutch purse, will really set you apart and keep you right on trend. The whites, beige and yellow colours are hot right now and look and feel amazing in the hot summer sun.

So take a look at some of the items we have found below to recreate the look above, and you will shine as brightly as Girls Aloud at your next big event!

Women’s Spring Fashion Trend Ruffles

Last week we touched on some of the emerging trends that are set to have women’s fashion alight in Spring/Summer 2010. First up we had nude collections coming to the forefront, which involved subtle feminine colours and embracing your girly side. This makes a massive difference from last year where Autumn/Winter was all about power dressing, rock chic and strong silhouettes. The next big trend that ties in beautifully with the whole nude trend is Ruffles. Yes they are back girls and they are going to be bigger than ever!

Last year there was a massive emphasis within the world of women’s fashion on detailing like studs, pleats, sequins and embroidery. This meant we saw variations of traditional clothing with everything from little black dresses to tops getting a makeover and bringing them bang up to date. Ruffles are going to be this year’s biggest embellishment trend on women’s clothing – Ruffles and frills will be present in all shapes and sizes, adding a girly innocence to every item of clothing they are added to.

The Spring/Summer preview runways were full of ruffles and this season designers really did outdo themselves with their range of romantic shapes and tiers that adorned everything… from dresses and skirts to blouses and light-weight coats. So these coming seasons it seems we are all going to be embracing our inner femininity and girly side. Cute floaty ruffle dresses in beautiful neutral shades will be really popular, and we here at Fashionbeans can’t wait for the sun to come out now! Take a look at how some of the celebrities have been rocking the ruffles look recently on the red carpets:
