The front cover of NYC newspapers, well the News and the Post, had a picture of Paris in tears on the cover. #1, isn't there a war going on? Just another way to distract us! Aside from that, what do you think of her 45 day sentence? I feel like its way extreme. Its SO easy to say that she thinks she is above the law but maybe she doesn't.

When she was pulled over for her DUI, her blood alcohol level was just AT the legal limit. When she got her license suspended and was driving anyway she said that she didn't know it was suspended. Her manager testified that he told her that she could drive after 30 days as long as it was work related. Now, I don't like that she was speeding, but don't you usually get a ticket?

They are totally making an example of her. I don't want to say jealousy because it seems so high school but it seems like there was some there. When I heard that one of the jurors said something along the lines of, "Don't impound her car. She probably has 5 others," I got angry. Its not her fault she has money. Yes, she has a great, easy life, but what is that a reason to hate her? She dresses horribly, has terrible blonde hair, and talks like she's 4, but she knows who she is.

I want to know how people like Pete Dogherty (Kate Moss' BF), who gets arrested for coke every other week, or rappers who get caught with guns, avoid jail? 45 days is a long time. Is it fair? Does the punishment fit the crime?

I definitely think there should be some sort of consequence for what she did. How about issuing fines, adding a ton of community service, or taking away her license for a year? I guess she has money and drivers but you can't just throw her in jail because of that. I know that I am anti-authority; I have had the worst experiences with cops, but I really believe they are picking on her. PETA named her the number 1 worst pet owner and I never understood that. I'm a PETA supporter, a strict vegetarian, but why is she such a bad owner? She has 19 pets and a zoo keeper to help her. She LOVES animals and never wears fur. I think it is just because she puts cute outfits on Tinkerbell and brings the on the red carpet. Just because she annoys you, doesn't make her a bad person.
