Deals and Duds

It's SO beautiful in NYC today! I almost feel like a human being after this kick ass cold. I hit up the Atlantic Center Target in Brooklyn (walkable from me) this morning in search for this dress. They had a ton of them, sizes 1 to 13. When I saw it, my heart started racing and I started sweating. No joke. Is that how athlete's feel? Anyway, my dreams of frolicking in Brooklyn swinging in the dress were crushed when I felt the material. I'm not expecting perfection-it's Target- but it felt like PAPER. Paper I can almost deal with, but the boob part is CRAZY small. The Go International lines always run small but honestly, it looked like the size SEVEN would barely cover my nipples. Boo. I'm not totally anti-it yet. I need to go back and try it on when there aren't 5,000 people in line. But for now, no go. I DID get this top. It has a much more normal fit. I got a medium and I wish I got a small. It's really cute and different and works with the whole sporty-dressy thing that's so big right now. I have no idea what I'll wear it with yet. Definitely not jeans, and a black skirt will probably make me look like a bumble bee. Ideas?? I'll post a pic when I wear it.

I also ran to Marshalls because I needed baskets. I LOVE Marshalls but this one is usually pretty gross and crazy messy. I haven't been in a while and it looks like they are making some improvements. There are also some seriously good finds!

A cute effort.

Adorable Betsey Johnson heels for less than $150. Obviously, no size 5 :(

This $100 Dooney & Bourke tote is cute enough to take to the beach and out to dinner.

It's hard for me to walk away from a $50 Betseyville bag. A little young for me but so fun.

Super soft and chic Michael Kors for $250.

On trend Pradas for $330.

How precious are these KORS kids sandals? $20! Who can I buy them for?
