Round 2 of +J: Jil Sander for Uniqlo Spring/Summer 2010

German designer Jil Sander rolled out her second Spring/Summer line for Uniqlo March 4, 2010. Often called "the master of basics," Sander returned to designing after having no involvement in her namesake line since 2004. Fans of Sander, such as Ellen Degeneres, are loyal to her understated elegance and exquisite tailoring. Barney's New York has said that their clientele ask for Jil Sander more than any other designer. Now, springtime minimalism is available to the masses. Last winter, Sander's long, padded coats stood out as favorites. This season, it looks like the denim shirts ($29.50) and paper-bag waist pencil skirts ($39.50) will be scooped up by fashionistas looking for wallet friendly with designer quality. Sander told TimesOnline, "I have been very meticulous about details. Some pieces of the +J collection have been fitted five times, to ensure a flawless, sculptured silhouette and unconditional ease for the wearer." Her most colorful collection yet, Uniqlo is also carrying Sander's collection for men. There are magenta wind breakers and shirts in soft fabrics that come in a rainbow of colors. Based on the quality and popularity of this and previous collections, we can only hope that Jil Sanders will come back to fashion for good.

If you can't get to a store, check out Uniqlo's website to check it out.
